Janet Roe Nichols, Founder & President
Janet has developed her skills beginning as a designer, project manager, salesperson, and business owner. This evolution and experience has benefitted both customer and staff to be able to identify and understand the needs of each.
As the founder and president of One Eleven Design, she has developed the company into a full-service interior design firm and furniture dealership. With several distinctions from Herman Miller and former employers, Janet has taken her drive and dedication to recruit and lead the best team of designers and staff to service northeast Indiana.
Tara Warner, Accounting Manager
Tara earned her bachelor's degree in Business at Trine University, with a focus in accounting. Tara has 20 years of accounting experience to guide the One Eleven team in financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policy and procedures. She loves being part of such an inspiring staff.
Lisa Bresley, SHRM-CP, Human Resources Manager
Lisa was inspired to start her career in Human Resources to help advocate for the people. She has 5 years of experience and brings expertise in several areas including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, policy and procedure implementation.
Allyson Rorick, Intern
Allyson is a senior and student council leader at Woodlan High School. She has always had an interest in interior design and loves shadowing all roles at One Eleven Design. Allyson will be attending Central Michigan University next fall.
Ellen Roe, Marketing and Customer Experience Coordinator
Ellen has grown up in the design world being in the One Eleven Design office since its inception in 2001. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she attended Indiana University - Bloomington, however, decided to pursue design in a slightly different direction. Ellen majored in Journalism with a focus in Advertising and Public Relations through the IU Media School and obtained an honors business certificate through the Liberal Arts and Management Program.
Ellen has a strong passion for branding and continues to make sure the One Eleven she grew up with is showcased and stays true to its roots. Ellen is also a certified yoga instructor and brings her love of wellness into the One Eleven brand as well.
Design Team
Lauren Messman, NCIDQ 37162, Design Manager + Account Manager
Lauren graduated from Ball State University, a CIDA accredited design program. While in college, she completed an internship at MSKTD: an architecture, engineering, and design firm in Fort Wayne. As a Design and Account Manager at One Eleven Design, Lauren works closely with clients to create their vision from space planning and furniture selection to finish selection and power and data planning, to name a few. She works hard to balance schedules and budgets to ensure client satisfaction.
Maddie McCullough, Design Supervisor + Account Manager
Maddie began her time at One Eleven Design as an intern, and began working full time as a designer after graduation. She works closely with clients through programming, space planning, and finish and furniture selection phases of each diverse project. In collaboration with the rest of the team at One Eleven, she’s essential from start to finish, ensuring each furniture and design project are completed to a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Madison (MJ) Jacobs, Designer
MJ has a passion for knowledge and loves research-based design, which is one of the reasons why she was drawn to our team in being a MillerKnoll Dealer. All of her passions are in the creative realm as outside of work you can find her painting, teaching in a dance studio or diving deeper into the world of design.
Dawn Justice, Designer
Dawn’s first passion has been being a mother to 5 children, the first 3 being triplets, and grandma to her 2 grandchildren. She also has a fur baby, Maisie Lou, who she adores! Her personal hobbies include reading, biking, walking and camping.
Dawn has worked in the design industry for 4 years, first at an architecture firm but came to One Eleven Design because she thoroughly enjoyed the furniture aspect of design.
Kylee Strunk, Designer
Kylee’s passion for design is deeply rooted in the desire to assist others in making their vision a reality. She enjoys creating environments that encourage and improve client’s emotional, physical, and cognitive wellbeing. A building is more than four walls; it’s a place of inspiration, hope and a future waiting to be built.

George is a talented carpenter and uses his skills + 3 decades of installation experience for One Eleven Design customers. His attention to detail, product knowledge, and ‘can do’ attitude insures successful projects.

Trevor brings more than seven years experience and endless energy to every project. Focusing on customer satisfaction is one of Trevor strengths along with fluency in dozens of product lines.
Rick McGillivray, Craftsperson
Rick has been the quality control of the newly established warehouse and mill. Mistakes are not in his vocabulary, and if they occur - because they always do - a solution will be provided and executed quickly. His passion for getting the job done right the first go-around makes Rick essential for the detailed work the One Eleven team completes.

Matt Ireland, Mill Operations Manager
From fabrication to installation, Matt does it all being an extremely skilled carpenter. He loves seeing every project transform from concept to completion.
Mark Haines, Mill Project Coordinator and Designer
Mark has been called an Artisan by his past customers for his talent and expertise. He has impeccable taste when it comes to the design and coordination of a custom mill project. Whether it be in the home or in the office he prides himself in catering to every client.

As a part of the One Eleven Design mill team, Tadd has helped exceed all customer expectations in the first of the mill projects. When a project needs completed, Tadd steps up and the results are top notch and ahead of schedule. His passion for working harder than the competition and seeing the job through sets the bar high for all.
